We are here to help!
We currently have two packages available to parents for those with students K-3rd. At the moment, these are offered ONLY via video tutoring. Due to the importance of social distancing we have suspended our in-person tutoring options.
*If you would like one-on-one tutoring, please contact us for individualized options for your child.
This includes math and language arts small group classes live and online twice a week along with specific assignments for each child to practice what they learned in class on the off days. This means each child will have 4 teaching hours of online classes per week with supportive practice assignments. All materials are sent via email for parents to print out from home. Our classes are limited to 6 students in order to be able to provide quality education. The cost for these classes is $25 per teaching hour which translates to $100 per week. *All lessons are aligned to 4th quarter Virginia State Standards.

No! You can do this. And we are here to support you. :-)
Students spend the first 5 minutes of class sharing and connecting with each other via an academic ice breaker question for the day. The next 20 minutes are spent learning the concept for the day. This takes place using an online white board along with videos and music as appropriate. The next 20 minutes are spent allowing students time to practice. This includes each child working with the tutor on the online white board to ensure understanding of the concepts and clarification of any portion that the student may stuck on.
We use Zoom for our online classroom. This allows everyone to both see and hear each other. Our online classroom includes an interactive online white board where students can practice as well as the capability to share both videos and music as appropriate for each concept being taught.
We limit each class to 6 students. This ensures that we are able to spend one on one time with each student every class and helps to ensure the quality of our classes.
You will need to download Zoom onto your computer. Once you have signed up for classes, a link to do this will be emailed to you. You will need the following equipment.
- a computer (or compatible tablet)
- Zoom app (free for students)
- a mouse if using a computer (prefer a wireless mouse)
- microphone (built in or external)
- camera (built in or external)
Parents are not typically required to stay with their child during these classes. If there are behavioral issues with a child, then the parent may be asked to sit with the child during class.
